Acrylic Landscape Painting

To make my acrylic painting, I first chose a mountain scene and sky that I liked.  I set them up the way I wanted to organize my painting.  This was the composition.  I chose to do an orange and blue color scheme to go with the sunset and made the sky.  Then I used atmospheric perspective, which is making things appear further away or closer.  I made the mountains in the back appear as if they are almost fading away so that they seem further away.  I created a light source coming from the top right.  I used smooth brushstrokes for most of the painting, moving the brush in one direction.  Top add value, I made certain parts lighter and certain parts darker.  I based the changes in value on the light source.
