The medium of my project is a plastic bowl that is about 1 foot by 6 inches.

The design element that was stressed was smooth edges that ended in ridges.

A hump mold was used.

My piece is a bowl and can be used to hold things.
4. How did you create a design for your project?
I created a design for my project using ideas from other cultural patterns.
5. What did you learn from the project? How would you change the project if you were to repeat it?
I learned that it takes a long time to make a clay piece like this. If I could change something, I would spend more time smoothing out the clay on the underside because it ended up being more rough, and I would have spread the glaze more evenly in one direction.
